GLOBBER
Globber are an award-winning company which offers revolutionary scooters for toddlers, teenagers and adults. We first started working together in 2018 when we were asked to create 11 films plus accompanying still photography to showcase their impressive product range.
Now in our third year of working together, the scale of production keeps on growing. We work closely with Contrast Creative and our production partners Standby Productions throughout the project.
Pre Production
Globber have an impressive selection of products each with unique KSP’s, therefore helping the customer purchase the right one is paramount.
It was agreed that each film would be split into a studio element to capture the KSP’s and this would be joined by a lifestyle element to really promote the company’s ethos of fun, liberty and freedom.
We often begin with storyboarding the studio element of the film. This element is crucial to ensuring the customer is clear on all the attributes of each product. Whilst a less creative part of the process, it is just as important.
Alongside this we are also working on the concepts for each lifestyle films plus the requisite casting and location scouting needs. Once we found the right faces and locations we then had to ensure we had all our licences and permits in place. In addition to this our team managed the styling plus hair and make up. Throw in some shot lists, storyboards and detailed schedules and we are ready to go.
Production
With careful planning, the shoot days are always fun, if very busy. There is always a lot of content to capture as we always aim to maximise what we can do in the time available.
In addition to the filming requirements we also had a large number of stills to capture for use on packaging, POS and promotional material.
Again with careful coordination and planning, we were able to ensure both the stills and filming team captured what they needed.
Post production
Working closely with our production partners, the footage was carefully edited into these amazing final films. At the same time our team was busy editing the many images we took.
Globber wanted us to show the magic moments and personal connections that can be achieved through shared experiences. With our great actors and fabulous locations, we exceeded Globbers expectations.
The final films and images, plus a series of social edits of the films have now been released to all their selling regions for use on their partners websites, in-store media and of course the Globber site. All have been very well received.
